A Lussemburgo per il Consiglio trasporti con i colleghi ministri delle altre nazioni europee. Porto in Europa, nell’interesse di tutti i paesi, la richiesta di lasciare fuori dal patto di stabilità le risorse spese per le reti strategiche europee
I ministri dei trasporti dell’Unione Europea si sono riuniti a Lussemburgo, per l’Italia il sottoscritto.
INFRASTRUTTURE COME INVESTIMENTI
Infrastrutture: sono costi o investimenti?
Intendo ribaltare questa concezione e affermare che le risorse spese da ogni singolo paese, per costruire le reti strategiche europee, devono rimanere fuori dal conto del deficit (Maastricht, patto di stabilità) perché devono rientrare tra gli investimenti produttivi previsti dalla “golden rule“.
In questo modo liberiamo risorse per le infrastrutture di interesse nazionale. Infatti, l’Italia ha già speso 36 miliardi di euro e ne stiamo spendendo altri 33 per opere in corso di realizzazione.

IL LAVORO CON I COLLEGHI
I ministri sono riuniti per discutere sulla realizzazione di un sistema dei trasporti più integrato e di come il settore possa contribuire al rilancio di crescita e occupazione.
- Interoperabiltà del sistema ferroviario: armonizzare le regole sull’immissione sul mercato di veicoli ferroviari che oggi devono avere due autorizzazioni, una dell’autorità nazionale e una dell’autorità europea. In questo modo si riducono i costi amministrativi e si velocizzano le procedure
- Trasporto su strada: fissare le regole comuni sui ‘controlli tecnici su strada’, per migliorare la sicurezza evitando che i Paesi con norme meno rigide diano via libera ai veicoli con difetti tecnici, causa di incidenti e inquinamento
- Migliorare lo scambio di informazioni sugli ‘eventi rilevanti’ dell’aviazione civile, al fine di migliorare la prevenzione e il livello di sicurezza dei voli,
- Armonizzare le norme sugli equipaggiamenti da mettere a bordo delle navi

Condivido, solo un appunto, gli incidenti sono causati più spesso da disattenzione dovuta dalla stanchezza, troppo spesso le aziende per ridurre i costi, spingono gli autotrasportatori a non rispettare le ore di riposo.
Ho lavorato nel settore per diversi anni e so quello che dico.
