Grandi navi a Venezia: tuteleremo l'ambiente e il valore economico del turismo
Questa mattina si è svolta al ministero delle Infrastrutture e Trasporti la riunione che ho convocato sull’emergenza grandi navi a Venezia. Tutela dell’ambiente e del valore economico del turismo i due obiettivi da salvaguardare.
I PRESENTI
Alla riunione erano presenti:
- Per il governo io (Infrastrutture e Trasporti) e il ministro dell’Ambiente Andrea Orlando
- Il sindaco di Venezia Giorgio Orsoni
- Il presidente della Regione Veneto Luca Zaia
- Il presidente dell’Autorità portuale Paolo Costa
- Il comandante delle Capitanerie di porto ammiraglio Felicio Angrisano
- I rappresentanti degli armatori
Per il ministro Orlando “l’incontro è stato molto positivo: abbiamo ottenuto il risultato che ci eravamo prefissi: un termine certo per la presentazione dei progetti, su cui ci pronunceremo dal punto di vista della fattibilità ambientale ed economica, e la richiesta di un pacchetto di norme sul transitorio che disciplinino nel frattempo i passaggi nella Laguna”.
OBIETTIVI DA SALVAGUARDARE
Alla riunione si è convenuto che gli obiettivi da salvaguardare sono due:
- La tutela dell’ambiente inteso in senso lato, come impatto ambientale sulla Laguna delle soluzioni che verranno proposte e come compatibilità di scala delle navi che passano nel canale della Giudecca e nel bacino di San Marco.
- Secondo, la salvaguardia del valore economico del turismo per la città di Venezia e per la regione Veneto.

I PROSSIMI PASSI
In generale siamo d’accordo per applicare, senza ulteriori rimandi, il decreto Passera-Clini. La sicurezza è un punto che sta molto a cuore a questo governo e per questo:
- Il decreto vieta il passaggio delle navi oltre le 40mila tonnellate nella Giudecca e a San Marco. Quei grattacieli galleggianti non devono più passare da lì.
- Sono state prese tutte le misure che garantiscono la sicurezza (velocità delle navi, traino, uso del gasolio meno inquinante) ed è stato chiesto alla Capitaneria un ulteriore impegno per eventuali altre misure da adottare
Dopo aver fatto la ricognizione del problema e delle criticità esistenti, la riunione si è conclusa con un aggiornamento al 25 luglio prossimo. Cioè ci siamo dati un tempo preciso per le decisioni. Nella riunione del 25 luglio verranno presentate soluzioni mature con tempi e costi per l’attuazione in modo che si possa individuare un’alternativa.
Questa decisione è l’unico modo con cui non si allungano i tempi e ci si assume la responsabilità, condivisa da tutti, che davanti a Venezia le grandi navi non passino più.

Singolare che non siano stati invitati all’incontro i rappresentanti del “Comitato NO GRANDI NAVI” nè esperti sul problema della laguna e sui suoi canali e fondali,ne esperti che conoscono come si reggono edifici e fondamenta di Venezia. L’aspetto economico è assolutamenbte marginale rispetto ai danni strutturali che provocano con il loro passaggio questi grattacieli galleggianti. Si deve soprattutto pensare alla città definita dall’UNESCO Patrimonio dell’Umanità e non al suo sfruttamento.
Carissimo ministro Maurizio Lupi , mi interesserebbe sapere se le navi resteranno a Venezia come attracco dopo questa decisione e se si dove si i tende farle passare per mantenere comunque una visione di Venezia ai crociersti ma allo stesso tempo tutelare chi non gradisce il passaggio delle navi nello stretto canale.grazie .buona giornata
